How to Counter the Productivity Paradox

According to a survey by McKinsey & Company, reading and responding to emails, costs U.S. organizations $1.5 Trillion in lost productivity annually.

To counter this, organizations invest in and implement software to increase productivity. However, this often results in the opposite outcome- the coordination required to implement the new software along with resources to manage dissuade teams from using the software, therefore, switching back to using emails.

This results in a significant opportunity cost and a decrease in transparency, accountability, operational visibility, and efficiencies associated with the project and tasks. This reduces the overall productivity within the organization.

This loss of productivity is known as the Productivity Paradox.

Simply put, the Productivity Paradox states that the more software tools implemented in order to increase productivity, the more ad hoc tasks and informal processes created within daily workflows. This results in reduced granular visibility, increased resource inefficiencies, and eventually a decline in overall productivity.

However, TRIYO’s email tracking feature changes all of this.
